Volunteers move the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) forward. Whether you sit on the Board of Trustees or you provide educational content during a conference, your dedication to the association is an integral piece in developing initiatives and instituting activities to move the association forward. In addition to being an integral piece in the association, you will grow your skillset, find, or become a mentor, and create lifelong relationships with your peers.

Become an Association Leader
 

Great leaders inspire and NACUFS, as an association and as an employer, relies upon this inspiration to cultivate the varied and changing needs of our members and staff. Become a part of the leadership at either the regional or national level.

 
 
Become a Committee Member
 

The programs and services available to members are brought to life by talented volunteers who serve on either a committee or task force. Committees include learning, marketing, membership, finance/audit, nominating, and executive. Task forces include Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards, National Conference, Regional Conference, and the Industry Advisory Task Force. Become a part of a committee or task force and put your talents to use.

 
 
Share Your Expertise
 

The ability to share your expertise with your peers is a valuable opportunity to gain recognition for your experience. Whether you are a seasoned foodservice professional or a newbie who led a new successful initiative, your experience is a valuable learning opportunity for your peers. Write an article for publication in Campus Dining Today®, the official magazine of NACUFS, or for the association’s e-newsletter; present at an interest session during National (or Regional) Conference, or during an education program.
