Director of Hospitality - Calvin University 

 

Creative Dining Services and Calvin University are seeking an innovative leader to oversee our hospitality program on the beautiful, tree-covered 400-acre campus of Calvin University and the Prince Conference Center and Hotel in West Michigan.  Only 40 miles from the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, and 5 miles to downtown Grand Rapids, Calvin University has an enrollment of 3300 students. 

 

The Director of Hospitality will ensure that Residential Dining, Retail, Catering, and the Conference Center/Hotel management teams work collaboratively to ensure a best-in-class student and campus guest experience, and that client and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in management, Hospitality, Business, or a similar field along with a minimum of five years of successful managerial experience in a hospitality setting; preferably with a college or university. 

 

The successful candidate selected for this position will participate in a three-week structured leadership program, Creative Leadership.? Creative Leadership provides new managers an opportunity to learn what a high performing food service operation looks and feels like from both the management and employee perspective.?
