Pandit Dasa

Opening Keynote: Creating a Positive and Mindful Workplace Culture

The growth and overall success of an organization is defined by its culture and leadership: a positive workplace culture enhances teamwork, collaboration and morale, boosting employee engagement, efficiency and retention. In this presentation, Pandit Dasa—an expert on workplace culture, the future of work, resilience, mental health and mindfulness—will address the importance of creating an environment where ego battles aren’t driving the company down and where individuals are willing to put aside their own self-interest for the sake of the greater good. He will also present the latest research on mindfulness and its application for the workplace.

An author and former monk, Dasa now speaks at many Fortune 500 companies and many of the world’s largest organizations such as Google, NASA, The London Stock Exchange, IBM, Chase, Royal Bank of Canada, Novartis, AT&T, Kellogg and others. He captures his audiences' attention by sharing his journey on why he spent 15 years living as a monk in New York City and why he’s no longer a monk.

His speeches and workshops aim to create a more mindful workplace culture which improves retention, addresses the challenges of “quiet quitting” and increases productivity. He also provides practical tips on how to maintain positive social connections with colleagues in a hybrid work environment. Dasa encourages leadership and co-workers to lead by example, prioritize self-care and appreciate the success and contributions of their colleagues. This attitude fosters trust, enhances collaboration and greatly impacts employee performance.

Kyle Scheele has been called "the patron saint of crazy ideas". Whether he's having a Viking funeral for the regrets of 21,000 people, hosting the world's first fake marathon, or gaining a million TikTok followers in just 25 hours, Kyle is always on the lookout for crazy ideas that produce wildly outsized outcomes. Over the last decade, his projects have been featured in outlets like Fast Company, WIRED, The Washington Post, Yahoo!, BuzzFeed, UpWorthy, Goalcast, and more. His videos have been viewed over 250 million times, and he has spoken to hundreds of thousands of audience members across the United States. More than anything, Kyle hopes that his story can inspire others to chase their own crazy ideas and become the people they were meant to be.
