Job Description

Under the direction of the Hiring Coordinator, this position supports all student and non-student wage entry level hiring within Dining Services. Assists with onboarding of all student and non-student wage employees by developing training, programs, and resources to increase retention. Oversees student recruitment strategies to increase engagement with potential employees. Analyzes data to support departmental decisions.

Required Qualifications

Experience with facilitating and/or developing trainings. Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of competing demands. Ability to research and prepare analysis and data summary reports. Experience with online applicant tracking systems and/or Human Resource information system. Exceptional organizational skills, with the demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner; interact respectfully and comfortably with all individuals in a diverse, multicultural environment; remain calm and polite in stressful situations; exercise excellent judgment, discretion and initiative. Experience using computers including programs and software such as Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS) and Internet search engines for research.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent training and experience. Experience with food service operations with exposure to food quality, customer service, and/or food safety issues.

 

Salary range:  $40,040 - $42,000
