Nutrition Awards

The Nutrition Awards recognize the outstanding nutrition and wellness programs implemented within collegiate dining programs of our institutional members. The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) celebrates the innovative programs created to meet the needs of a dynamic student population in the following categories:

Most Innovative Wellness & Nutrition Program
 

This annual contest celebrates institutions who have implemented an innovative and effective wellness and/or nutrition program during the previous academic year.

The 2020 Most Innovative Wellness & Nutrition Program winners are:

Silver: Westfield State University

Best Vegan Recipe
 

This biennial contest celebrates institutions who have incorporated creative and healthy vegan recipes in their menus. This contest takes place in even-numbered years – 2020, 2022, 2024, etc.

The 2020 Best Vegan Recipe winners are:


Gold: University of North Texas

Silver: Oregon State University

Best Local Foods Recipe
 

This biennial content celebrates institutions who use locally produced foods in their menus. This contest takes place in odd-numbered years – 2021, 2023, 2025, etc.
