Opening Reception
National Constitution Center
The NACUFS 2026 Spring Conference in Philadelphia begins with a memorable evening at the National Constitution Center—an especially meaningful setting as the nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States this year. In the city widely recognized as the birthplace of American democracy, attendees will gather where the story of the Constitution and the founding ideals of the country come to life. This year’s opening reception replaces the usual closing event, creating an early opportunity for attendees to connect with peers and set the tone for the learning and conversations ahead.
The reception will take place in the Kenneth C. Griffin Great Hall Overlook, a stunning space featuring a 60-foot ceiling, sweeping views of historic Philadelphia, and the First Amendment engraved across its towering wall. The evening also includes access to Signers’ Hall, where life-size bronze statues of the Founding Fathers stand in quiet conversation. Together, these spaces create a powerful backdrop to reconnect with colleagues, meet new peers, and set the tone for two days of learning and conversation with campus dining leaders from across the country.
