Understanding and measuring operational performance is critical for effective foodservice management. The annual NACUFS Operating Performance Benchmarking Survey allows you to effectively assess the performance of your dining program over time and compare it to national benchmarks, helping you identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. New for 2019 are some improvements to this member-only benefit.
Registration opens January 4, 2019. To participate, complete the survey electronically no later than March 15, 2019 (this is an earlier deadline than in past years). Data from the responses of participating institutions will be collected and analyzed by Industry Insights, Inc., a professional research firm that specializes in business studies for associations.
After the completion of the survey, you will receive a comprehensive report that displays your results compared to the aggregated benchmarks from all participating institutions. Data submitted is completely confidential—only you will have access to your institution’s information.

It’s customized. The report you receive is tailored to your institution’s data alongside the aggregated benchmarks of all participants. For a nominal fee, you can further customize your report with a sub-sampling of comparable data, allowing you to evaluate your performance with that of a specific target group.
