Mid-Atlantic Region

NACUFS has several leadership development opportunities for members in the Mid-Atlantic region.  These opportunities would enable you or a team member to become engaged, contribute to your profession and build your on-the-job leadership skills. Three of those opportunities that we currently have open are to serve on the education committee, serve on the marketing committee or serve as the regional director-elect. It’s an exciting time to be engaged! Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged!

Regional Director-Elect- Through this experience a volunteer has a unique professional development opportunity.  As regional director-elect, you will prepare to serve as the Director of our Region and Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council.  As such, you will grow in your abilities to lead a team of people, manage the regional budget, interface with NACUFS elected board members, help develop member value and learn about governance issues.  You will be one of six regional directors and establish connections with dining service leaders throughout the country.
