The Business and Auxiliary Services team supports all aspects of campus life, from housing to parking and everything in-between. The University of Pittsburgh, Office of Business and Auxiliary Services is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance and Operations Coordinator for Dining Services.

Responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the oversight of all operations and special projects of food services sites on and off-campus
  • Inspecting food service areas for quality assurance and safety measures
  • Monitoring customer service delivered by the contracted food service provider
  • Aiding in the coordination of corrective/preventative maintenance in food services areas and following up with customers as necessary

Other duties as assigned, including knowledge of Health Department regulations and the development and implementation of sustainable practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or completion of comparable specialty program preferred. Chef background strongly encouraged. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree. Three to five years of experience in food service inspection or operation is strongly preferred.
