Responsibilities

As a Multi-Unit Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to the staff of multiple retail dining locations. Support individual outlet supervisors in their efforts to maximize guest satisfaction and productivity while achieving budgeted sales and net income. Coordinate and direct the fiscal budgeting process for all operations. Oversee and participate in marketing initiatives and development of individual dining location goals. Carry an active relationship with corporate branding partners when applicable, helping to achieve the common goals while meeting the terms set forth in the agreement. Supervise day-to-day activities of retail operations, working in conjunction with supervisors & employees of respective areas. Communicate with staff in an effective & positive manner utilizing the Student Life vision. Encourage decision making at the lowest level. Assure quality standards of customer service and cleanliness are evident daily. Help others be successful in their role by providing continuous training, coaching and guidance.

Required Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Management, or related
  • Six (6) years of experience in a foods-related area
  • In lieu of a degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience
  • Functional competencies in food production/services and computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets
  • Certification in ServeSafe sanitation program or ability to become certified within one year
  • Interpersonal competencies in customer focus, teamwork/collaboration and coaching/leading people
  • Knowledge of sanitation requirements governed by local and State Board of Health Standards
  • Personal competencies in flexibility/adaptability and judgment/problem solving
  • Competencies in communication and initiative
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
  • Knowledge of POS, debit card applications and current software programs
  • Ability to work with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds utilizing teamwork in daily work activities
