This Dining Service’s senior management position is an administrative and supervisory work position. Occupant of this position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing a diversified staff of food service personnel in the operation of a large dining commons and production facility. This position will plan and coordinate training programs for staff. Supervises activities of dining commons managers and provides general direction of employees in the dining operations. Establishes channels of communication and exchange of ideas with customers; utilizes FoodPro system; and assist with strategic and operational planning for the residential dining program with the Executive Director and Associate Director. This position is a senior line position and reports directly to the Associate Director of Residential Dining.

Required Qualifications

Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Prefer both commercial retail as well as institutional dining services experience, such as a college, university or full service hotel, private club or multi-unit restaurant.
