Best Local Foods Recipe
Open to all institutional members of the association, the goal of the Best Local Foods Recipe Contest is to recognize and encourage the use of locally produced foods in the menus of NACUFS member institutions by showcasing the efforts of members who use locally produced ingredients. This contest takes place in odd-numbered years.
Gold: Michigan State University: Smoked Cheddar Cheeseburger
Silver (tie): University of Connecticut: Pork Stew with Fennel and Butternut Squash
Silver (tie): Oklahoma State University: Grilled Chicken Salad with Cilantro Lime Dressing
Bronze: University of Minnesota: Dirty Farro
