New Engagement Format for 2017!
NACUFS invites two senior-level collegiate foodservice leaders (directors, associate directors and/or assistant directors) from each of 15 self-operated member schools to attend the operator roundtables and foodservice directors symposium at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio in San Antonio, Texas.
As in previous years, the operator roundtables will provide senior-level leaders opportunities to engage with industry members committed to helping the C&U segment meet their dining excellence and operational goals. A reception and light dinner are planned for the evening of January 24, followed by a day of roundtables on January 25.
Following the roundtables, the 15 selected member schools will attend the foodservice directors symposium January 26-27. The symposium will include facilitated dialogue around Mega Issues facing your operation, your campus, and the foodservice industry. As in previous years, participants will have input into discussion topics. Possible topics may include:
How to Apply
Interested institutional members should complete and return the 2017 Symposium Application Form. The application deadline is Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Applicants should be prepared to attend the full program that runs from January 24 – 27. If more than 15 schools apply by the deadline, a group of volunteer leaders will select the final cohort to ensure a diverse and representative mix of member schools for engagement.
Interested new members and first timers are encouraged to apply!
What are the Program Costs?
Through the generous and continuing support for education from NACUFS industry members, each school selected will receive a program grant valued at $2,000 ($1,000 per person). The program grant covers the symposium registration fees and hotel.
Each individual is responsible for covering his/her own travel expenses, including ground transportation to and from the airport, as well as two lunches and two dinners during the program. Breakfasts, breaks, and opening/closing dinners are included.
Please Note: There is no symposium-only registration option for 2017.
