Continental Regional Members,

As I enter the last year of my presidency, I am excited about the many successes of the past year. Our region hosted two sub regional conferences and a very successful conference in Fargo. We also debuted a new regional logo! NACUFS is an amazing association that I have had the pleasure of being a member of for over 20 years, and it seems to keep getting better and better, both regionally and nationally.

In addition to the exciting explorations the national board has set in motion (including new communication methods and looking into NACUFS relationship with sustainability), I have established three regional goals that I will work continue to work towards seeing accomplished during my term as president. Those goals are to increase membership participation, increase host school participation in NACUFS/ACUHO-I Food Service Management Internship programs, and increase sub regional meetings.

In the upcoming year, we, as a region, have many things to look forward to. This year the Continental Region will combine with the Pacific Region for an exciting conference in Fort Collins, CO. We also have three sub regional conferences planned and will increase travel stipends for our members.
