The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) welcomes you to the
NACUFS 2022 Southern Regional Conference!

We look forward to being back together in person for the Regional Conferences.

As we continue to monitor the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in response to the continued rise in COVID-19 infections across the country, NACUFS has made the decision to implement additional safeguards for the health and safety of attendees and exhibitors at all upcoming in-person conference experiences. Specifically, all participants will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated or will be able to present a recent negative COVID-19 test to gain entry to conference activities. To read our Pandemic Protocol, click here.

Make plans to join us March 28-30, 2022, in Las Cruces, New Mexico!

About This Event

Welcome to the NACUFS 2022 Southern Regional Conference!

Founded in 1888, New Mexico State University (NMSU) is the oldest public institution of higher education in the state of New Mexico. We are proud to be hosting the NACUFS 2022 Southern Regional Conference here in the Land of Enchantment. Located at the base of the Organ Mountains and along the Rio Grande River, Las Cruces boasts 350 days of sunshine per year and attracts visitors from all over the world to experience an array of outdoor recreation activities, historic attractions, and our world-class New Mexican cuisine. NMSU and Las Cruces has played a unique role in our country’s agricultural heritage. We are proud to be the home of the nation’s oldest wine-growing region, one of the top three states in the U.S. for pecan production, and world-renown for our chile pepper production and research. Established in 1992, The Chile Pepper Institute at NMSU is the only international, non-profit organization devoted to education and research related to Capsicum, or chile peppers.  We are excited to be offering an array of educational and motivational programing during our conference and look forward to providing a variety of memorable opportunities to safely network and collaborate amongst college and university food service peers while following all of the latest CDC guidelines.  On behalf of the NMSU and the entire conference planning team, we invite you to spice things up and come experience our famous southwestern hospitality here in Southern New Mexico!

Look forward to seeing you soon!

Respectfully,
