Vanderbilt University recently opened their new 115,000 square foot Commons Center located on their Peabody Campus.  Designed by Bruner/Cott Architects & Planners, it is part of the University’s student living-learning initiative.  The Commons was designed to support ten college ‘houses’ (five new construction and five renovations) that will accommodate 1,600 first-year students and serves as the student center and dining hall for the new Freshman Campus.
