Assistant General Manager- Durrell Dining Center

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for daily operations of Durrell dining center, which includes a full-service all-you-care-to-eat operation with a variety of interactive venues. The position directly and indirectly supervises a large number of staff of classified staff and 150 student and part-time employees by hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating those employees. This position directly oversees the Student Management Team by hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating, coaching, and mentoring the student managers.



Required Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business, dietetics, or related degree 
• OR graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business, dietetics, or related degree with three years managing food production and service. 
• Three years of full-time supervisory work experience.
